Homemade Spaghetti Sauce mmmmmmm….

Hi Everyone. As promised here is my recipe for homemade spaghetti sauce.

  • 7.5 lbs of ground beef
  • 6 cans of crushed tomatoes (796ml / 28oz size)
  • 2 cans of tomato sauce (398ml / 13.4oz size)
  • 1 can of tomato paste (156ml / 5.27oz size)
  • 2 onions
  • 6-7 celery stocks
  • 2 cans of mushrooms
  • 1 green pepper (2 if they are small)
  • oregano
  • italiano
  • thyme
  • basil
  • crushed red peppers
  • bay leaves
  • 1 whole garlic (cook with ground beef)

Cook hamburger. Add minced garlic clove when hamburger is almost cooked.
Empty all tomato canned goods into a large pot (12 Qt).
Cut up veggies into small pieces and add them to the pot.
Add spices in layers – 1 tbsp of each
Let it simmer for 15 mins stirring occasionally.
Taste it… if you think it needs more spices add another round.
Let it simmer for 15 mins stirring occasionally.
Taste again and if you like it spicier go for round 3.
